The Faraway Keys off the coast of Honduras are what started it all. On my first trip out there we built the original base camp for the first group anglers and scouted the local flats. I immediately learned there was no flats fishery in the world that even came close to this chain of unique pancake flats and islands.
As documented in the film "Beyond the Horizon" the unbelievable numbers of bonefish and permit that school up in the thousands and smash flies off the eagle ray's is mind boggling. We explored the flats and shallow reefs and adapted our flies to match the mantis, shrimp and crabs that are unique to the Faraway Keys ecosystem.
Our Faraway Keys Fly Kits are a selection of flies that are proven to work like magic, season after season on some of the worlds largest permit and bonefish.
