This box has one purpose, catch trout when nothing else will. As temperatures go lower and leaves begin to fill the feeding lanes, the standard color flies can get lost in the mix and become harder for trout to distinguish. Our selection of flies for the signature "Junk Fly" Kits are flies that stand out from the normal fly shop junk flies.
Our Trailer Park Scuds, Sparkle Mops, Perdi-Juan Worms, finesse San Juan Worms and eggs all use the best UV Straggle Chenilles and Fluoro threads from Semperfli. The new Hareline Galaxy Mop Chenille in our mop flies adds a realistic look and sparkle that will instantly outperform your standard mop flies.
We select flies with hotspots and higher UV contrast to draw immediate strikes in off-colored water without being too bright for clearer conditions. Each of the tungsten jigs works great as an anchor in combination with the unweighted flies.
